Frequently asked questions.

How much should I take as a “dose”?

While dosage is very personal, we have this page to help you work through your decisions and understand some guidelines.

What is microdosing?

Microdosing refers to the practice of taking very small, sub-perceptual doses of psychedelics like psilocybin. The goal isn't to trip or hallucinate, but to subtly enhance mood, focus, creativity, and overall well-being. Also check out our free guide at the bottom of this page.

Will I feel high when I microdose?

Not typically. Most people report subtle shifts in perception, mood, or energy—but no intoxication or impairment. If you're feeling noticeable psychedelic effects, the dose may be too high.

How do I store my mushrooms or capsules?

Keep your supply in an airtight container in a cool, dark, and dry place. Capsules can also be stored in the freezer for long-term freshness.

How do I microdose while taking SSRIs, SNRIs, or other medications?

Please read if you’re on SSRI or SNRI medications:

If you are currently taking SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors), SNRIs (Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors), St. John’s Wort, or antipsychotic medications, it is important to understand how they may interact with microdosing.

SSRIs, SNRIs, and St. John’s Wort

These substances may influence serotonin levels in the brain. When combined with microdosing, they may lead to serotonin imbalance, potentially causing unwanted effects. If you are considering microdosing or tapering off SSRIs, SNRIs, or St. John’s Wort, we strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication regimen.

Antipsychotics & Benzodiazepines

  • Antipsychotic medications work by blocking serotonin receptors, particularly the 5-HT2A receptor, which is the primary site where psilocybin exerts its effects. This means that antipsychotics can diminish or completely block the effects of microdosing.

  • Benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Valium, Klonopin) are sedatives that may reduce or suppress the microdosing effects, making the experience less noticeable or less effective.

Please review the list of medications here that can be combined with microdosing.

Why are my capsules a different color than my last order?

We produce our capsules in large batches based on what is growing at the time. Humidity affects the color of the mushrooms and the overall consistency of the powder inside the capsule. Variations in color and texture are to be expected each time.

Do you accept returns?
